BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Holy Cross Church, Wilcot

The dial is 12’ up on the south wall of the nave. Indecipherable inscription is in very small letters along the top - probably not a motto, may be wardens’ names . Sandstone dial with date at top centre. Shows 6am to 6pm in hours. IIII for 4pm XII for noon. Iron strip gnomon and single straight supporter.
