BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Parish Church., Baxterley

The dial plate is carved onto the face of a quoin stone at the corner of the bell turret and is spalling badly. Only numerals 3pm to 6pm now visible though the dial would have shown the hours from 6am to 6pm. . No hour lines. Modern machined gnomon and securing plate is screwed to dial , sadly in the wrong position - root is in line with 5pm numeral. The dial measures 450mmh x 600mmw.
