BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is at the entrance to the churchyard. It is mounted on circular stone column 800mm high The gnomon is missing. The corners of the square dialplate are chamfered at 45 degs. Shows 3am to 9pm in half and quarter hours. Radial lines mark hours and a broad zigzag design around circumference provides a 32-point compass with the major eight points having double lines. An inscription reads: ’A gift of Patt Brew to Jurby Church 1757’. Records indicate major repairs to the church in 1757.
