BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northamptonshire

The dial stands in the garden on a square stone capital on a square section stone pedestal, with 4-hole fixing. It is of unconventional design with a circular dial on a square plate and an 8-petal design to the compass and time scales. It shows 4pm to 8pm in 30, 15 and 7.5 minute intervals. The motto in the outer circle reads: ’Set me right and use me well and I ye time to you will tell’. The gnomon supporter is curved and the gnomon upper tip is rounded.
