BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church (2), Purton

Unusual placement across the keystones under the eaves of the porch. Hour lines and numerals incised into stone but numerals are not in line with the hourlines. Sheet metal triangular gnomon is rusty but complete and even has signs of a nodus half way down its length. Shows 6am (just!) to 5pm in hours. Cross for noon. Possible repair at stone join alongside the gnomon? Dial shaded by a yew tree.
