BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

This second Sawston Hall dial is a simple but strongly designed vertical decliner on a rendered square. The motto across the top reads: "Tempus Edax Rerum". The dial is drawn in black on render with a semicircle out of the border around the gnomon root. No hour lines, just numerals. Shows 8am to 3pm in hours. Noon marked as XII. The rod gnomon has an unusual pierced supporter with a circle and cross motif.
