BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church (1), Purton

The dial is about 17’ up on the SW buttress of the tower. It shows 10am to 6pm in hours, with very small Roman numerals and no hour lines. Metal strip gnomon with two supports and not inset at the root. Several mass dials on SE quoin.
