BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kent

The dial is on the east corner of the south wall, supported by two stone corbels. It shows an eclipse symbol to mark the year, and has declination lines for the equinoxes and for 3rd Sept - the owner’s birthday. It is made of green Kirkstone slate with gilded lines and white lettering.
