BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

La Seigneurie,

The Seigneurie is open to paying visitors during the summer. The sundial is on a rough granite pedestal in the rose garden. The time is shown in Roman numerals from 5am to 7pm and the hours are divided into 30, 15 and 7.5 minutes. There is an 8 point compass rose in the centre of the dial which also contains: ’1703 W Glover, London’ and a motto: ’ Tempus Edax Rerum’ (Time, devourer of all things) The unusual triangular shaped gnomon (which is loose) is engraved with a fine stylised dolphin.
