BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Peckover House [NT], Wisbech

Peckover House, an elegant Georgian town house near Wisbech, is the home of this small octagonal dial which may be found near the greenhouses in its gardens. Dated 1796, the brass dial shows its age through a gentle encroachment of verdigris; the name of the maker is unfortunately indecipherable but time lines and compass markings are still clear. This National Trust property is open from Saturday to Wednesday most weeks from March to October, and occasionally over winter.
