BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Southwell Minster, Southwell

On the south ledge of the clock chamber, 75 feet up! A date and an inscription or motto were not readable. Dial used to regulate clock and not visible from ground. Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15, 10 & 5 mins. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside the dial. Sigmoidal back edge to gnomon and with two side supports. Mounted on stone fixed to sill. View through non-opening window. Surrounded by anti pigeon spikes.
