BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Gunby Hall [NT] (1), Spilsby

In garden at West Front. An inscription at the south side reads: ’Baluster / from old Kew Bridge / built 1783, demolished 1899’. The inscription appears to be later than the dial. Shows 5am to 7pm in Roman numerals read from the inside, divided to 30, 15 and 5 minutes, and with wavy hour lines. There is an 8-point compass rose at the centre, labelled to NE etc. Note the unusually long gnomon. Mounted on stone baluster pedestal 1120h with square top and 3-stepped plinth.
