BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Devon

This is a modern dial with a nodus and much furniture. Etched and black-filled artwork. Designed to be read from the North. Also has Lat/Long, maker, eclipse date and diamond ring icon with silver wedding date (1999), declination lines for family birthdays and events, year of design (1997), Longitude (3d 39.8m), Long corrected time scale and two family icons. Gnomon gap. Shows GMT 4am to 8pm in 30, 15, & 5 mins. Mounted on circular slab on granite block on wall at top of steps.
