BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

This is a rectangular vertical south-facing dial on an almshouse 150 yards west of the church. The dialplate is canted from the wall in order to face due south, but is not quite vertical. The dial shows 6am to 6pm with faint hour lines but deeply cut upright Roman hour numerals. Above the dial is the date: 1814. The tip of the solid triangular sheet gnomon is now broken off.
