BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Peter’s Church, Charney Bassett

Rectangular vertical dial on the left end of the south wall of the church. The dial is canted out from the wall in order to face due south. No markings are visible. The gnomon is a thin triangular sheet. Note: the church is in the south east of the village. It has some fine Norman carvings, worth seeing even if the sundial is not.
