BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Peter’s Church, Wootton, nr Sandleigh

Large vertical south-facing dial over the porch door. The dial plate is of breakarch design. The dial stands on a corbel. A large semicircle encloses the gnomon foot. Some hour lines are just visible radiating from it, but no numerals survive. Noon may have been marked by a cross. The gnomon appears to be central, but the porch wall declines 6 degrees east of due south, so it should slope down to the left. Ref: Victoria County History, Berkshire IV 203. Note: This Wootton, formerly in Berkshire, is near Boar’s Hill, not Woodstock. Wootton Village is the name of the road.
