BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gloucestershire

This slightly weathered dial is in the rear garden, on the second level down. It is set on a pedestal which is a chimney from a chapel at Painswick cemetery and which has an added light. It is formed from 3 half rings and gnomon rod, with no nodus or date scale. It shows 6am to 6pm in hours.
