BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Bartholomew’s Church., Much Marcle

High on the South wall of the tower is an east declining vertical dial which was once painted on the masonry. All that is visible now is an area of stone not colonised by lichens but spalling more than the surrounding masonry. This measures 3000mmw x 2000mmh. The iron gnomon survives.
