BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Gloucestershire

The dial is mounted on a short wooden column 450h with a circular stone top 450 diameter, on the patio to the south of the house. It shows 6am to 6pm (delineated 5am to 7pm) in 30 and 15 minutes, with noon marked ’0’ and 4pm marked ’IIII’. The motto reads: "Grow old along with me, The best is yet to be". The gnomon is in the form of a bird. Dial plate has a figure of Father Time.
