BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Waterperry Garden, Waterperry

In the gardens at the end of the Long Walk is a bronze horizontal dial 300mm in diameter. It shows the customary hours IV - VIII divided into halves, quarters and periods of 10 and 5 minutes. In the centre is a sun face and 4-point compass rose. The motto reads ’Make time, save time while time lasts. All time is no time when time is past’, The under side of the gnomon is the style.
