BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church Cottage, Kirkby Bellars

The dial is set into brickwork, beneath the roof eaves, above the front door. Upright Arabic hour numerals for 6am to 6pm, except ’X’ for 10am, and ’+’ for noon, with hour lines and half hour divisions. The bar gnomon has a single curved support with crenellations to the upper edge.
