BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Windsor Dials, Windsor

On the corner of the terrace is a large three ring armillary sphere 1719mm in diameter designed by Christopher Daniel and made by Brookbrae in 1999. It shows 6am to 6pm divided into half hours. Two of the rings are split for half or quarter of their circumference so that noon and declination at noon can be observed. Corrections for GMT and BST. Declinations in degrees on a first of the month scale. The dial is signed on the reverse of the hour ring.
