BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Holy Trinity Church, Milton Regis

Badly vandalised, near the main entrance. Most of gnomon and third of dial plate torn off. Shows 4am to 8pm in 30,10, 7.5 min marks. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from inside the chapter ring and aligned with the hour lines. Fleur de lys marks for half hours. Rosette and a flat headed bolt in each spandrel. Set on an octagonal, downward tapered sandstone pedestal with an inscription on the sides: "To the glory of God /of new/ jubilee year 18[87?]". Dial remarkably similar to SRN 5181 3kM distant and made by Thomas Hart in 1773. Could this dial be in that style?
