BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is in the Committee Room. It is the first dial of this kind in the City for 200 years. The Tallow Chandlers Coat of Arms is in the centre, the Shields of the City of London and of C Holborow are at the top and the City of London Arms are at the base. The dial commemorates the Year 2000. It shows 8am to 6pm in quarter hours, with the chapter ring on three sides with black numerals on yellow. The top top contains shields and MM on a white ground.
