BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kent

Fine Double Horizontal dial given to present owner after the male line of the original family ceased to exist. Planispheric projection, lunar and altitude scales. Shows 4am to 8pm in 30,15,10,5 and 1 min marks. Mounted on small modern square section plinth 762h. Signed ’STEPHEN GRAY FECIT CANTERBVRY 1699 / LATITVDE 51 15’. Much more detail in Report 8935.
