BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Monsal Head, Little Longstone

Motto at bottom may read: "Horas non numero nisi serenas" and, at top, Inscr reads: "Monsal Dale". Dial slab is arched with motto and landscape/viaduct scene engraved in it. (Site is above rail tunnel entrance). Gnomon may be replacement. Shows 6am to 6pm in hours. The dial is on the Visitor Centre Tea Room wall and can be viewed from a Picnic area off the B6465.
