BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

In walled garden S of the house. Motto reads: "The hour is will God, Hope is with All". The ’will’ should presumably be read as ’with’. Angle of gnomon is 13 degrees. Dial plate is horizontal however. RJW suggests dial made for West Indies but could also be India. Split noon mark. Shows 6am to 6pm in 30,10 and 2 min marks. Inset into square top of cylindrical stone pedestal (1350h) on massive irregular block plinth.
The garden is open occasionally under the National Gardens Scheme.
