BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is on the lawn terrace east of house. The motto reads: "You may waste but cannot stop me". Split noon, XII for Noon, IIII for 4am/pm. Gardens open under NGS. Shows 4am to 8pm in 30 and 5 min intervals. Mounted on an impressive, octagonal section stepped and panelled pedestal and plinth, 1300h with octagonal top 600 across.
