BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Andrew’s Church, Bishopstone

On S wall over apex of porch. Saxon dial, with semicircular top, 13 time lines, 5 with cross marks and up to 16 pock marks. Has replacement horizontal gnomon fitted. Inscription reads: "+EAD RIC". Ref: Gatty, 3rd ed 1890, p417 and BSS Bulletin 1999.
