BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Andrew’s Parish Church, Lamesley

This dial is rare indeed, a west facing dial on a church tower. It is not clear why it was not placed conventionally on the south wall, tree shading was perhaps the reason. It shows 1pm to 8pm in 15 min intervals. It would be nice to have a date.
