BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Durmast House, Burley

The dial is mounted on a white stone pedestal 900h with a square top, in the Gertrude Jekyll garden, open under National Gardens Scheme. It was designed for Lat 52d 30m. There is a compass rose at the centre, an EoT graph, pierced gnomon, and eight point fixing. Shows hours V - XII - IV - VII, read from the inside, with noon gap and divided to 30,15 and 5 min intervals.
