BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Numerals 1 to 8 in Arabic and 1 to 8 in Roman. Dial is a pair with Direct East dial SRN 1255. Hour lines, but with two additional lines between 1 and 2 pm (20 and 40 mins?). Gnomon has an elegantly shaped central cut-out, and is now slightly bent. Motto along lower edge of dial, partly visible, ’DUM SPECTAS FUGIT’. Located on West facing buttress.
