BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The inscription reads: "Peggy & Ron 50 years together, August 1994. Love from all the family". A large ’50’ is engraved on side of the slate gnomon. The dial shows 6am to 9pm (BST) in 15 minutes, with AM/PM marker, and hour lines with dots marking every 15 minutes.
