BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

J Begg’s Shop (2), Aberdeen

This cube dial is one of a pair on opposite corbels of the roof gable, this being the right hand one looking at the front (refer SRN 0908). The SE declining face shows 3am to 2pm in hours, with initials WTMG and date 1694. The NE decliner shows 3am to 9am in hours, and the gnomon is missing. Ref: A R Somerville, personal file
