BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Cowane’s Hospital, Stirling

An old dial in the Dutch Garden, re-engraved in 1910. EoT is in the form of a "Table of Equation" which occupies the centre of the dial with an entry for each day of the year. Shows time from 4am to 8pm in 1, 5 and 10 min intervals. Mounted on more modern circular pedestal but on an older base. Ref: Hospital records. Details provided by Mrs A Hancock.
