BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Manchester (Greater)

The dial is over the conservatory. Access is only with the owner’s permission through the house. The motto reads "Non Numero horas nisi serenas", and the Coat of Arms has the motto "Respice et Prospice". The dial shows 9am to 6pm in 15 minute intervals, with confusing delineation. It has bronze lettering on a grey/blue ground.
