BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Inscription notes date of house rebuild - thought to be that of dial. Shows times: S face: 6am to 6pm in 30 mins; E face: 3-11 in hours; W face 1-9 in hours. Painted hour lines have protected them against some erosion. Dial mounted on circular capital over pediment. Flambeau above.
