BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Andrew’s Church (2), Shrivenham

Rectangular vertical west-facing dial on the south-west corner of the church. The dial forms a pair with SRN 4004 just round the corner. Unfortunately, most of the dialplate has spalled. There remain just fragments of three hour lines and the Roman numerals III to VIII. The very good gnomon with loop decorations on its underside matches that of SRN 4004 on the south side. From the Grade 1 Listing info: On the SW corner are 2 sundials and below them the inscription: ’All these dials were made by Salem Pearse, 1720’.
