BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Andrew’s Church (1), Shrivenham

Rectangular vertical south-facing dial on the south-west corner of the church. The dial forms a pair with the west-facing SRN 4005 just round the corner. There are hour lines inside the two rectangular chapter rings. The inner ring has upright Roman hour numerals and large dots for the half hours. The outer ring has half and quarter hour marks. The right hand side of the dial has spalled badly and none of the original surface remains. The gnomon is in good condition. Its underside is decorated with small iron loops. From the Grade 1 Listing info: On the SW corner are 2 sundials and below them the inscription: ’All these dials were made by Salem Pearse, 1720’. See also SRN 4005.
