BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Old Methodist Church, Newtown

The property is now a private house and the dial is inset into the brick wall at the rear. The motto reads: "A life on flight’s soon out of sight". Lines emanate from small double semi circles at the gnomon root, and lines etc are infilled in black. The dial is marked 7am to 5pm with upright Roman numerals using XII and IV, but showing 6am to 6pm, in 15 minute intervals.
