BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cumbria

Open and graceful gnomon extending to the XII numeral. Shows 4am to 8pm in 5 min intervals. Some chipping at South side. During renovations to the property in 1997 this dial was seen resting on but not fixed to an octagonal section bulbous plinth 930h. Classified as Refer to Registrar because owner’s views on registration not yet known.
