BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Hill Top [NT], Near Sawrey

The dial is on a ground floor interior window ledge. It has no gnomon. It is adjustable for latitude by inclining the dial plate against a curved scale, with adjustment allowing Lat 20 to Lat 58. Mounted on polished turned wooden plinth 300h it is portable though without a compass. It shows 4am to 8pm in 1 min intervals.
