BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Giles Church (2), Packwood

An imposing cube dial on a tall square section column set on an octagonal base Is situated in the NE corner of the churchyard. There is a ball finial to the dial block. Dials on all four faces measure about 250mmh x 220mmw. North and South gnomons are 12 cms long, East and West are 8cm long. All gnomons are elaborately designed in bronze. Total height of dial about 3m. In memory of Emily H Ash1857 - 1918, and later her husband and son, all of nearby Packwood House, which has a similar cube dial.
