BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cumbria

Shows 4am to 8pm in hours and half hours with other unspecified divisions down to 1 min on outer scale. Watch Faster Slower EoT scale. Uses IIII. Solid gnomon with two long heavy supporters. Set on lead blackamoor supporter (older type) kneeling on right leg. Statue was shot through during revelry in 1909. Repaired 1983.
