BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Dial is located in the garden of the complex, mounted on a circular section fluted concrete pedestal with a circular top. It is a commerative dial with an inscription reading: ’In memory of Doris Marion Shuttleworrth (1900-1978). The inspiration for the English Courtyard Association’. Pierced gnomon.
