BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

Motto reads: "I count only the sunny hours". Inscr is in memory of D Palumbo, the architect - (d1986). Shows Arabic 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. Mounted on a black, cylindrical, marble plinth 840 tall and 495 diam.
