BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church (2), Selling

This early scientific dial can be found on a left quoin on the south transept. It has hour and half hour marks but with some confusion regarding hour identification, suggesting a very early date. Roman numerals denote hours 3pm and 4pm, and the rest appear to be Arabic. The stone shows two gnomon mounting holes, suggesting an angled gnomon for a declining dial.
