BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is located in the garden. It is engraved with an 8 point compass rose, the date of 1649, and the motto ’Une Suffed’. The hour lines indicate 4am to 8pm and engravings for 30,15 and 5 minute intervals. Unfortunately the gnomon is missing. The dial is mounted on an excellent cylindrical sandstone brick pillar with a circular top and chamfered base. It would appear that the dial was moved to its present location from somewhere else.
