BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Chantry, Tisbury

Substantial decliner. Black markings on hexagonal stone dial plate. Eleven groups of three dots arranged internally to hour numbers with no apparent connection to the time scale. No hour lines, strange partial use of ’J’ for ’1’. Time shown from 4am to 2pm. Some trace of other markings.
