BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Dorset

Mounted on square topped square section stone plinth, 1m high. Plaque at base. The dial is a memorial to Lord Baden Powell, the founder of the scouting movement. Shows 15 and 30 min marks, 4am to 8pm.. Motto reads: "Hours Fly".
